How to Make Crispy Prosciutto & Peppery Arugula Pizza

    1. Dough Preparation

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone or baking steel, place it in the oven now. On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to a 12-inch circle. Brush the surface with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

    2. Garlic Infusion

Mix the minced garlic with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Let it sit for 5 minutes to infuse the oil.

    3. Toppings Assembly

Spread the garlic-infused olive oil evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the garlic oil. Tear the prosciutto slices into smaller pieces and arrange them over the cheese.

    4. Baking the Pizza

Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the preheated stone/steel using a pizza peel) and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly. While the pizza is baking, toss the arugula with a tiny bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper.

    5. Finishing Touches

Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and immediately top with the seasoned arugula and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for an added kick.
