How to Make Delightful Sautéed Mushrooms

1. Preheat the Skillet

Preheat your skillet until it is very hot, ready for the mushrooms to sizzle upon contact.

2. Sauté the Mushrooms

Pour olive oil into the hot skillet. Add the mushrooms with a sprinkle of salt. Sauté until the mushrooms are browned and tender, with golden edges. If excess liquid releases, drain it off to maintain the sear.

3. Add Optional Ingredients

For an optional indulgence, stir in cream or crème fraîche and allow it to heat through. Add thyme and garlic, or a sprinkle of Gremolata, and sauté gently to meld the flavors.

4. Serve
