How to Make Tomato and Onion Salad with Avocado Ranch Dressing

1. Make Avocado Ranch Dressing

In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocado, garlic clove, fresh chives, dill, parsley, vinegar, sea salt, and Dijon mustard. Blend until smooth. Gradually add buttermilk to reach the desired thickness.

2. Assemble Salad

Arrange the thickly sliced heirloom tomatoes on a platter, add the thinly sliced onion, and either drizzle with avocado ranch dressing or place the dressing underneath the tomatoes and onions.

3. Garnish and Serve
