1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat along with it.
2. Prepare Dough
Prepare your Magic Mozzarella Dough. Sprinkle almond flour on a sheet of parchment paper, place the dough on the parchment, pat it into a rough square shape, and then cover it with another piece of parchment or waxed paper. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a 12-inch square.
3. Prepare Garlic Oil Mixture
In a small bowl, whisk together the extra-virgin olive oil, minced garlic, coarse sea salt, and coarsely ground black pepper.
4. Brush Garlic Oil Mixture
Brush the garlic oil mixture over the surface of the dough, making sure to cover the entire area.
5. Pre-Bake Dough
Transfer the parchment paper with the dough onto your preheated pizza stone or a baking sheet. Bake the dough for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it starts to turn golden.
6. Add Prosciutto and Mozzarella
Remove the dough from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chopped prosciutto and shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top. Return the flatbread to the oven and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Add Final Toppings
After this second bake, remove the flatbread from the oven and sprinkle the shaved Parmesan cheese and fresh arugula over the top. Allow the flatbread to sit for about 5 minutes.
8. Serve
Cut the flatbread into pieces and serve. Enjoy the delightful combination of crispy crust, savory prosciutto, and fresh arugula.
If you have a pizza stone, preheat it in the oven for at least 30 minutes at the highest temperature to ensure a crispy bottom crust.
