How to Make Classic Turkey Burger Delight

    1. Grate Onion

Begin by grating half a medium onion using the fine holes of a grater. Discard the juice, as you only need the grated onion itself.

    2. Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the grated onion, lean ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Use a fork to mix these ingredients together until well combined.

    3. Shape Patties

Shape the turkey mixture into four patties, each about 1/2-inch thick.

    4. Cook Patties

Heat canola oil in a nonstick griddle or large nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the griddle or pan, cooking them for about 5 minutes on each side.

    5. Assemble Burgers

Serve the cooked patties on whole wheat hamburger buns. Add sliced tomato, sliced onion, iceberg lettuce, pickles, and sliced red pepper. Finish with ketchup and mustard to taste.
