How to Make Chocolate Chip Pecan Loaf Cake

    1. Prepare Baking Pan and Preheat Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 × 5-inch loaf pan.

    2. Mix Sugar and Yogurt

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and plain yogurt until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.

    3. Add Eggs

Add the large eggs to the sugar-yogurt mixture and whisk until well integrated.

    4. Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt.

    5. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

Gently combine the wet and dry mixtures using a spatula until just combined.

    6. Add Butter, Chocolate Chips, and Pecans

Fold in the melted unsalted butter, chocolate chips, and chopped toasted pecans to the batter.

    7. Pour into Pan and Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smooth the top, and bake for 50 to 55 minutes until golden brown and a tester comes out clean.

    8. Cool the Cake

Let the cake cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely to room temperature.
