How to Make Margherita D.O.P. Pizza

1. Spread Tomato Sauce

Spread ¼ cup of Pomì strained tomatoes evenly over the parbaked pizza crust, leaving a ½-inch border around the edge.

2. Drizzle Olive Oil and Add Mozzarella

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over the tomato sauce and place six slices of fresh mozzarella di bufala evenly over the sauce.

3. Broil the Pizza

Place the pizza in the oven or under the broiler and cook until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

4. Garnish with Basil

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it rest for a moment, cut into six slices, and garnish each slice with a fresh basil leaf.
