How to Make Vanilla-Coconut Bliss Ice Cream (Vegan)

    1. Combine Ingredients and Heat

Start by combining the coconut milk, coconut cream, corn syrup, and raw sugar in a medium saucepan. Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a gentle simmer. This heating process helps the ingredients meld together, ensuring a creamy base for your ice cream.

    2. Blend Mixture

Once the mixture is well-blended and hot, carefully transfer it to a blender. Secure the lid tightly and blend for about 30 seconds. Blending thoroughly at this stage is crucial as it ensures a smooth texture and even distribution of ingredients, giving your ice cream its luscious consistency.

    3. Add Flavorings and Chill

After blending, pour the mixture into an airtight container. Add the vanilla extract, whiskey, and kosher salt, stirring gently to combine. The addition of whiskey not only enhances the flavor but also helps in achieving a softer texture by preventing the ice cream from freezing too hard. Place the container in the refrigerator and allow the mixture to chill for at least 4 hours, or until it reaches a temperature of 45°F or lower.

    4. Churn the Ice Cream

Once the mixture is thoroughly chilled, transfer it to your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. The churning process incorporates air and further smooths the texture, transforming the liquid base into creamy ice cream.

    5. Freeze Until Firm

After churning, transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and place it in the freezer. Allow it to freeze until firm enough to scoop, which will take about 5 hours. When ready, scoop out your Vanilla-Coconut Bliss Ice Cream and enjoy the rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced flavors.
