1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a large bowl, combine the diced rustic bread with the chopped fresh sage, fresh thyme leaves, and minced fresh rosemary. Add the garlic powder, olive oil or melted butter, sea salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Toss everything until each bread cube is evenly coated.
2. Toast the Bread Cubes
Spread the seasoned bread cubes in an even layer onto a sheet pan and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. At the halfway point, stir the bread cubes for even toasting. They should be golden and dried out when finished.
3. Season and Cool
Remove the toasted bread cubes from the oven, let them cool slightly, and taste. Season with additional sea salt if needed. Your homemade stuffing mix is now ready to use or store.
