How to Make Gourmet Lobster and Avocado BLT

    1. Preheat Oven and Cook Bacon

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Place the bacon on a baking rack set over a sheet pan and roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until it is browned and crispy.

    2. Prepare Dressing

While the bacon is cooking, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and sweet relish in a medium bowl. Add 0.25 teaspoons of kosher salt and 0.125 teaspoons of freshly ground black pepper. Whisk until the dressing is smooth and well blended.

    3. Prepare Avocados

Slice the avocados and coat them with the juice of one lemon to prevent browning. This will keep the avocado slices fresh and green.

    4. Assemble Sandwiches

Take the lightly toasted slices of bakery white bread and spread a generous amount of the prepared dressing on one side of each slice. Layer each sandwich with a large lettuce leaf, followed by a few avocado slices. Add a slice of ripe red tomato and season lightly with salt and pepper. Place a slice of crispy bacon on top, followed by a portion of the sliced lobster meat. Top with another slice of toasted bread, dressing side down.

    5. Serve

Press the sandwiches gently to ensure all the layers stick together. Cut each sandwich in half if desired, and serve immediately.
