How to Make Berry Almond Oatmeal Bake

    1. Prep Dish

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Using a brush, coat a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with melted butter.

    2. Layer Berries

Evenly disperse the mixed berries across the bottom of the buttered dish.

    3. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped almonds, baking powder, and salt.

    4. Combine Wet Ingredients

In a larger bowl, whisk together the remaining melted butter, milk, eggs, sugar, and the extract of your choice (vanilla or almond), along with the nutmeg.

    5. Assemble Bake

Gradually add the oat mixture to the milk mixture, stirring to combine. Pour this over the berries, gently shaking the dish to distribute the mixture evenly.

    6. Bake

Place in the oven and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the top turns pale golden and the oatmeal is set.
