How to Make Cumin Lamb Meatballs with Tahini Yogurt Dipping Sauce

    1. Prepare Garlic Paste

Create a smooth garlic paste by combining minced garlic with a pinch of coarse kosher salt. Use a mortar and pestle or the flat side of a knife to mash the mixture into a paste.

    2. Mix Lamb Meatball Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix half of the garlic paste with ground lamb, cumin seeds, hot sauce, black pepper, chile powder, minced scallion, and chopped parsley.

    3. Shape and Broil Meatballs

Shape the meat mixture into balls and place them on a lightly oiled rimmed baking sheet. Broil the meatballs for 8-10 minutes, until they are browned on top but still slightly pink inside.

    4. Prepare Tahini Yogurt Sauce

Whisk together plain yogurt, tahini, the remaining garlic paste, a quarter teaspoon of salt, and fresh lemon juice to taste.

    5. Serve Meatballs with Sauce

Arrange the broiled meatballs on a platter, drizzle with tahini yogurt sauce, and garnish with remaining parsley.
