    How to Make Salted Brownies

    1. Prepare Baking Pan

Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8-inch square metal baking pan with aluminum foil, allowing the edges to hang over for easy removal.

    2. Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt ¾ cup of unsalted butter together with a 12-ounce bag of semisweet chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.

    3. Combine with Sugar and Eggs

Remove from heat and add 1 cup of sugar and 3 large eggs to the chocolate mixture, whisking until fully incorporated.

    4. Add Dry Ingredients

Whisk in ¾ cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract, 1½ teaspoons of baking powder, and ¾ teaspoon of flaky sea salt until the batter is smooth.

    5. Bake the Brownies

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

    6. Cool and Sprinkle Salt

Sprinkle additional flaky sea salt over the baked brownies and allow them to cool completely in the pan.

    7. Cut and Serve

Lift the brownies using the foil edges, peel away the foil, and cut into bars before serving.
