    How to Make Salted Brownies

    1. Prepare Pan and Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8-inch square metal baking pan with aluminum foil.

    2. Melt Butter and Chocolate

    In a medium saucepan, gently melt the unsalted butter with the semisweet chocolate chips over low heat. Stir continuously and allow the mixture to cool slightly after melting.

    3. Combine Ingredients

    Whisk the sugar, eggs, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, baking powder, and sea salt into the slightly cooled chocolate mixture until smooth.

    4. Bake

    Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.

    5. Add Finishing Salt and Cool

    Sprinkle additional flaky sea salt over the warm brownies and allow them to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
