How to Make Hot Chocolate with Cocoa Whipped Cream

1. Prepare the Cocoa Whipped Cream

Begin by pouring the heavy whipping cream into a mixing bowl. Add a generous spoonful of confectioners’ sugar and a few tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder. Use a mixer or a sturdy whisk to whip the cream until it forms soft peaks.

2. Create the Hot Chocolate

Pour the whole milk into a pot and place it over medium heat on the stove. Add pieces of bittersweet chocolate, allowing them to slowly melt into the warming milk. Stir frequently until the mixture is silky and the chocolate has fully melted.

3. Serve and Enjoy

Pour the hot chocolate into your favorite cup, leaving room at the top for the cocoa whipped cream. Gently spoon a dollop of the whipped cream over the hot chocolate, give it a gentle swirl, and then it's ready to serve.
