How to Make Pan-Seared Ranch Chicken

1. Prepare the Ranch Dressing

Mix together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, finely chopped fresh chives, fresh dill, garlic powder, kosher salt, and a pinch of black pepper to create the homemade ranch dressing.

2. Marinate the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat generously with the prepared ranch dressing. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes or overnight in the fridge for deeper flavor infusion.

3. Pan-Sear the Chicken

Heat extra-virgin olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the marinated chicken in the pan, cooking each side for 4 to 6 minutes until a golden-brown crust forms and the chicken releases easily from the pan.

4. Serve the Chicken

If the remaining ranch dressing is too thick for drizzling, whisk in a splash of water to reach the desired consistency. Serve the chicken with extra fresh herbs and a side of the thinned ranch dressing.
