1. Preheat Oven and Cook Ground Beef
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat and mix in the taco seasoning according to the packet instructions.
2. Prepare the Crust
Press the crescent roll dough into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate to form the crust.
3. Add Cheese and Beef
Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the dough. Spread the seasoned beef mixture over the cheese layer.
4. Add Optional Ingredients
If using, distribute chopped onions, black olives, and tomatoes evenly over the beef.
5. Top with Remaining Cheese
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
6. Bake the Pie
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Cool and Garnish
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish each serving with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of sliced green onions.
