How to Make Rich and Tender Almond Cake

    1. Prepare The Oven And Pan

Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-by-3-inch round cake pan with butter, line the bottom with parchment paper, and dust it lightly with flour.

    2. Sift Dry Ingredients

Sift together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.

    3. Prepare Almond Paste Mixture

Combine the almond paste and sugar in a food processor or stand mixer, breaking the paste into very small pieces.

    4. Cream The Butter

Beat the softened unsalted butter until light and fluffy.

    5. Combine Butter And Almond Paste Mixture

Add the almond paste mixture to the butter and cream together until smooth and well combined. Mix in the vanilla extract.

    6. Incorporate Eggs

Incorporate the eggs one at a time, making sure each is fully mixed in before adding the next.

    7. Blend In Flour Mixture

Gently blend in the flour mixture just until combined.

    8. Bake The Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan before turning it out.
