How to Make Rich and Tender Almond Cake

1. Prepare The Oven And Pan

Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-by-3-inch round cake pan with butter, line the bottom with parchment paper, and dust it lightly with flour.

2. Sift Dry Ingredients

Sift together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Prepare Almond Paste Mixture

Combine the almond paste and sugar in a food processor or stand mixer, breaking the paste into very small pieces.

4. Cream The Butter

Beat the softened unsalted butter until light and fluffy.
