How to Make Salted Cinnamon Rolls with Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting

    1. Prepare Pan and Preheat Oven

Grease a 10-inch (25.5 cm) round cake pan or springform pan with butter. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) with the rack positioned in the middle.

    2. Make Filling

Roll out the white bread dough into a rectangle approximately 14 x 10 inches (35.5 x 25.5 cm). Mix room-temperature butter, dark brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt to create the filling. Spread the filling over the dough and sprinkle golden raisins on top.

    3. Roll and Cut Dough

Roll the dough into a tight log and cut into 12 equal portions. Arrange the rolls cut-side up in the prepared pan and let them rise until doubled in size.

    4. Bake

Sprinkle a pinch of flake salt over the rolls and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden and baked through.

    5. Prepare Frosting

Beat the cream cheese, butter, and confectioners' sugar together until light and fluffy.

    6. Frost and Serve

Frost the cooled cinnamon rolls or serve the frosting on the side.
