How to Make Crispy Bacon Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado Cups

1. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

2. Prepare Bacon Cups

Grab a muffin tin and turn it upside down, placing it on a baking sheet. Cut some of the bacon strips in half. Make a cross with two of these halves over the upside-down muffin cups. Then, take two more bacon strip halves and place them around the perimeter of the cross. Finally, take a full bacon strip, circle it around the base of the bacon structure, and secure it with a toothpick. Repeat this process until you have four bacon cups.

3. Bake Bacon Cups

Place the bacon-covered tin in your preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the bacon is golden brown and firm. Once done, transfer the bacon cups to a cooling rack and let them rest for at least 10 minutes.

4. Assemble Cups

When the bacon cups are ready, carefully remove them from the muffin tin and place two cups on each plate. Fill each bacon cup with chopped romaine lettuce, then add the diced avocado and halved grape tomatoes. Finally, top each one with a dollop of sour cream.
