Large Head Of Cauliflower, trimmed and washed

1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prepare Cauliflower
Trim the leaves and wash the cauliflower thoroughly. Pat it dry to ensure it roasts properly. Cut the cauliflower into 0.25-inch thick slices.
3. Arrange Slices
Lay the cauliflower slices out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
4. Brush with Oil
Brush each slice with olive oil, making sure they are well-coated.
5. Season Slices
Season the slices generously with salt and black pepper. Optionally, add your favorite fresh herbs or crushed whole spices.
6. Roast Cauliflower
Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast the cauliflower at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, until the edges turn golden and the slices are tender.
7. Serve
Once roasted, sprinkle the slices with freshly chopped herbs or crushed spices if desired. Serve immediately.
