How to Make Garlic-Infused Spinach Sauté

1. Prep Spinach

Sort through the spinach, discarding any blemished leaves and tough stems. Rinse the leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt and drain them well to eliminate excess water.

2. Flavor Oil

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Gently press the whole garlic clove with the flat side of a knife to slightly bruise it, releasing its flavors, and add it to the skillet.

3. Sauté Spinach

Increase heat to high. Add the prepared spinach to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir rapidly and continuously, cooking until the spinach is uniformly wilted and most of the moisture has evaporated, about 5 minutes.

4. Serve Hot

Once the spinach is fully wilted and vibrant green, remove the garlic clove. Serve the spinach immediately while hot and flavorful.
