    How to Make Garlic Confit

    1. Prepare Garlic and Oil

Peel and separate the cloves of one head of garlic. In a small saucepan, combine the garlic cloves with one cup of olive oil, ensuring the cloves are fully submerged.

    2. Slow Cook Garlic

Place the saucepan on the stove over low heat and gently cook the garlic for approximately 20 minutes, until the cloves are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork.

    3. Cool and Rest

Remove the saucepan from the heat and cover it. Allow the garlic to cool for about 5 minutes, letting the flavors continue to meld.

    4. Mash Garlic

Transfer the cooled garlic cloves to a bowl and gently mash them with a fork to achieve a creamy consistency.
