How to Make Cheddar-Crusted Roasted Broccolini Delight

1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Broccolini

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Take the broccolini and remove the bottom half of the stems, then slice the remaining stems lengthwise and separate the florets.

2. Season Broccolini

Place the prepared broccolini on a sheet pan. Drizzle with 4 tablespoons of good olive oil and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of kosher salt and 0.5 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper. Toss everything together and spread out in a single layer.

3. Initial Roasting

Slide the sheet pan into the preheated oven and roast for about 10 minutes, tossing halfway through for even cooking.

4. Add Cheddar

Pull the sheet pan out of the oven and sprinkle the Cheddar crumbles over the broccolini. Return to the oven and roast for another 3 to 4 minutes until the cheese has melted.

5. Finish with Lemon Juice

Once out of the oven, squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the broccolini. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
