1. Cook the Asparagus
Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat and add the extra-virgin olive oil. Once the oil shimmers, add the trimmed asparagus and season with fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cook for about five minutes, shaking the skillet occasionally, until the asparagus is charred and evenly cooked.
2. Add Garlic and Lemon
Remove the skillet from the heat. Add the grated or minced garlic, finely grated lemon zest, and fresh lemon juice to the skillet. Toss to coat the asparagus with the mixture until well combined and fragrant.
