1. Boil Green Beans
Set a pot of 4 cups of water over high heat and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the cleaned green beans and cover with a lid, cooking for 3 to 5 minutes until they are tender yet crisp.
2. Cooling the Beans
Drain the green beans and rinse them under cold water to halt the cooking process and maintain their crunch.
3. Prepare Shallot Butter
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the chopped shallots, cooking until they turn golden-brown, about one minute.
4. Sauté Beans with Shallot Butter
