How to Make Silken Tofu Miso Soup for One

    1. Simmer the Base

In a medium saucepan, combine the chicken or vegetable broth with the cup of water. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.

    2. Whisk in Miso

Once the broth is simmering, turn off the heat. Add the white miso paste to the saucepan. Whisk it in until it is thoroughly dissolved and the broth has a uniform consistency.

    3. Add Tofu and Garnish

Stir the silken tofu cubes into the miso-infused broth. Sprinkle the thinly sliced scallions and crumbled nori on top. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste, according to your preference.
