How to Make Thai Lettuce Wraps

    1. Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, fish sauce, finely grated lime zest, fresh lime juice, honey, and ⅛ teaspoon of kosher salt. Set aside.

    2. Sauté Aromatics and Pork

Heat the peanut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped garlic, chile, scallion, and lemongrass; sauté for 30 seconds. Add the ground pork, pressing it down into the pan, and cook for 7 minutes until browned.

    3. Combine Pork with Sauce and Spinach

Pour the sauce over the pork, stirring to coat. Add the baby spinach and stir until wilted. Fold in the torn basil leaves and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.

    4. Serve

Arrange the pork mixture in lettuce leaves and garnish with additional scallions, chopped cashews, sliced shallots, shredded carrots, and serve with lime wedges.
