How to Make Shrimp and Mango Tacos

1. Cook the Shrimp

Warm up your skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Drizzle in the canola oil. Once heated, add the shrimp and garlic slices, and sprinkle with salt to taste. Sauté the shrimp for roughly two minutes until they start to become pink.

2. Season the Shrimp

Sprinkle the ground cumin over the shrimp and cook for about three minutes, until the shrimp are pink and opaque throughout.

3. Add Mango and Aromatics

Add the minced chilies, mango chunks, and chopped cilantro to the skillet. Stir well and cook for one minute to allow the flavors to combine.

4. Finish with Lime Juice

Pour the lime juice over the shrimp mixture, stir, and adjust the seasonings if needed.

5. Warm the Tortillas

Steam tortillas in a steamer basket for a minute, then keep them wrapped for warmth, or microwave them for a minute.

6. Assemble the Tacos

Give the shrimp mixture a final warm-through, then lay a warm tortilla flat on a plate, spoon the shrimp mixture onto the tortilla, and fold gently. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
