How to Make Totally Panini-Pressed Dinner

1. Cook the Bacon

Lay the rashers of thick-cut bacon on the panini press, closing the lid to ensure even heat distribution. Allow them to cook for 7 to 8 minutes until they reach a golden brown color and a crisp texture. Once done, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess grease.

2. Caramelize the Red Onion

Place the sliced red onion onto the panini press, allowing them to cook for about 4 minutes. Stir them occasionally with a spatula to ensure they cook evenly and develop a lovely caramelized finish.

3. Cook the Mushrooms

Spread the cremini mushrooms out on the panini press and let them cook for about 2 minutes, just enough for them to soften and release their earthy aroma.

4. Wilt the Spinach

Add the baby spinach to the panini press. It only takes about 30 seconds for the spinach to wilt down, so keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t overcook.

5. Combine and Serve

Combine the cooked bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and wilted spinach in a mixing bowl. Drizzle the buffalo wing sauce over the top and toss everything together gently, ensuring that the sauce coats all the components evenly.
