1. Cook the Bacon
Place the bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat. Allow the bacon to sizzle and gradually become crispy, turning occasionally to ensure even browning on both sides. This should take about 8 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel–lined plate to cool for about 5 minutes.
2. Chop the Bacon
Once the bacon is perfectly crisp and cooled, chop it into bite-sized pieces on a cutting board.
3. Prepare the Lettuce Wedges
Take the half head of iceberg lettuce and cut it into two wedges. Place each wedge on a separate plate, arranging them so they look appealing and easy to dress.
