How to Make Blood Orange, Red Onion, and Avocado Salad

    1. Prepare Blood Oranges

With a sharp knife, carefully peel away the skin and pith from the blood oranges. Slice the blood oranges into even rounds and set aside.

    2. Slice Red Onion

Using the same knife, thinly slice the red onion into delicate, almost translucent rounds.

    3. Prepare Avocado

Halve the avocado and remove the pit. With a spoon, scoop out the flesh and slice the avocado into even pieces.

    4. Assemble Salad

Arrange the blood orange slices on a plate as a base. Add a layer of thinly sliced red onion and creamy avocado on top. The salad is ready to be served.
