How to Make Cheesy Spaghetti Frittata

    1. Pasta Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If using leftover cooked pasta, roughly chop it and set it aside. For dried pasta, fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Cook the pasta until just shy of al dente, drain, and then toss with half the butter or olive oil in a bowl. Let it cool slightly.

    2. Sauté Meat

In a large nonstick ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat, add the remaining butter or oil. If including meat, add it to the skillet and cook until crisp, about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. If not using meat, skip to the next step.

    3. Frittata Assembly

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs. Stir in the pasta, grated Parmesan, and season with salt and pepper (use less salt if meat is included). Mix well to combine.

    4. Cook Frittata

Pour the egg and pasta mixture into the skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low. Gently smooth the top with a spoon if needed. Cook without stirring until the bottom sets.

    5. Bake Frittata

Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or just until the top is firm.

    6. Final Touch

Remove the frittata from the oven. Slice and serve hot, or allow it to cool to room temperature before serving.
