How to Make Roasted Almonds with Herbs

    1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Salt Solution

Preheat your oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, dissolve ½ teaspoon of salt in 1½ teaspoons of hot water, stirring well to ensure the salt is fully dissolved.

    2. Season Almonds with Herbs

In a large bowl, toss 1½ cups of almonds with the leaves from three thyme sprigs and one winter savory sprig.

    3. Roast Almonds

Spread the seasoned almonds in a cast-iron skillet or baking dish, and roast in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes for even browning.

    4. Coat with Olive Oil

Once roasted, transfer the almonds to a mixing bowl and toss with 2 teaspoons of olive oil.

    5. Adjust Seasoning and Serve

Taste the almonds and adjust the seasoning with additional salt if necessary. Enjoy the aromatic and flavorful roasted almonds.
