How to Make Lemon-Almond Bliss Tart

1. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Prepare the Batter

In a bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Whisk these ingredients together until they are well blended. Add the ground almonds and cream to the mixture, followed by the sliced almonds and the zest and juice of one lemon. Stir until you have a smooth batter.

3. Melt Butter

Melt the butter in an 8-inch ovenproof skillet over low heat.

4. Add Batter to Skillet

Pour the almond mixture into the skillet with the melted butter. Tilt the pan gently to distribute the batter evenly. Cook over low heat until the edges begin to set.

5. Bake the Tart

Transfer the skillet to your preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the tart is mostly set. Switch to broil and cook for an additional minute for a golden top.

6. Garnish and Serve

Remove the skillet from the oven and let the tart cool slightly. Garnish with powdered sugar and additional sliced almonds. Serve warm or at room temperature.
