How to Make Chocolate Nut Kataifi Purses

    1. Mix Filling

Mix the dark chocolate chips, walnuts, pistachios, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl.

    2. Make Syrup

Dissolve granulated sugar in water over medium heat, bring to a boil, and add honey. Cook until syrup thickens, about 10 minutes.

    3. Prepare Kataifi

Pull apart the strands of kataifi pastry, cut them into shorter pieces, and coat with melted butter.

    4. Mold Purses

Lightly oil a muffin tin, press a portion of kataifi into each cup, add chocolate nut filling, and top with more kataifi, pressing down to secure.

    5. Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 375ºF for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and crispy.

    6. Finish with Syrup

Spoon the prepared syrup over the hot kataifi purses once they are removed from the oven.
