Begin by combining the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a large frying pan over medium heat. As the mixture heats up, give it a gentle stir. Once it starts to simmer, allow it to continue bubbling gently for about a minute to thicken and develop a syrupy consistency.
2. Add Strawberries
Add the strawberries to the pan, stirring them in gently to coat them with the balsamic syrup. Allow the strawberries to simmer for about 6 to 8 minutes. Stirring gently ensures the strawberries maintain their shape without turning mushy. You'll know they are ready when they start to collapse but still hold together.
