How to Make Crispy Roasted Chickpeas

    1. Preheat and Prepare Chickpeas

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Drain and rinse a 15-ounce can of chickpeas. Pat them dry thoroughly using a kitchen towel on a baking sheet.

    2. Season Chickpeas

Drizzle one tablespoon of olive oil over the chickpeas on the baking sheet. Then, sprinkle one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of smoked paprika, and half a teaspoon of garlic powder. Toss everything together until the chickpeas are evenly coated.

    3. Roast Chickpeas

Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on the baking sheet and place them in the oven. Roast them for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

    4. Cool and Serve

Once roasted to perfection, remove the chickpeas from the oven and allow them to cool slightly on the baking sheet. This will help them firm up and maintain their crunchy texture. Serve as a snack or as a topping for various dishes.
