How to Make Spicy Coleslaw

1. Shred Cabbage and Carrots

Slice the cabbage into thin shreds and peel and grate the carrots. Toss them together in a large nonreactive bowl.

2. Prepare the Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, pickle relish, Dijon mustard, cider vinegar, and pepper sauce until smooth and fully blended.

3. Combine and Toss

Pour the spicy dressing over the shredded cabbage and carrots. Toss everything together until well coated.

4. Chill (Optional)

If desired, cover the coleslaw with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the flavors to meld.

5. Season and Serve

Season the coleslaw with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Give it a final toss before serving.
