How to Make Hearty Denver Breakfast Bake

    1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    2. Prepare the Eggs

Take a large bowl and crack all the eggs into it. Add a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper, then beat the eggs well until they are fully combined and slightly frothy.

    3. Dice the Vegetables and Ham

Dice the bell peppers, onions, and ham into small, bite-sized pieces. If your cheese isn’t pre-shredded, shred it now. Set aside half a cup of the shredded cheese for later.

    4. Combine Ingredients

In the large bowl with the beaten eggs, mix in the diced bell peppers, onions, ham, and one cup of the shredded cheese. Stir everything together until the ingredients are well distributed throughout the egg mixture.

    5. Grease the Baking Dish

Grease a baking dish with a light coating of oil or non-stick spray to ensure your breakfast bake doesn’t stick.

    6. Pour and Spread the Mixture

Pour the egg mixture into the greased baking dish, making sure it spreads out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining half cup of cheese on top.

    7. Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and let it bake for 25 to 30 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the eggs have set and the top is a beautiful golden brown.

    8. Cool and Serve

Once done, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. This cooling period makes it easier to cut the bake into neat pieces. Finally, cut into squares and serve warm. Enjoy your hearty Denver breakfast bake!
