1. Prep Pan
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan with unsalted butter. Dust the greased pan with cornmeal to coat.
2. Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups all-purpose flour, 3 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp kosher salt, and 2 tbsp granulated sugar. Gently stir in the beer until the mixture is just combined.
3. Bake
Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
4. Finish & Serve
Once baked, remove the bread from the pan. If desired, brush the top with melted butter for a richer flavor. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing.
