1. Combine Citrus Base
Combine the orange zest, orange juice, minced chipotle chile, shallot, and thyme in a small saucepan.
2. Prepare Molasses Mixture
In a separate bowl, whisk together the molasses and cornstarch until smooth.
3. Combine and Simmer
Pour the molasses mixture into the saucepan with the citrus base and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens and becomes glossy.
