    How to Make Ultimate Banana Bread

    1. Preheat & Prep Pan

    Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray an 8½ by 4½-inch loaf pan with vegetable oil spray.

    2. Combine Dry Ingredients

    In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

    3. Mix Bananas & Wet Ingredients

    In a large bowl, thoroughly whisk the mashed bananas, brown sugar, melted butter, and eggs, ensuring any brown sugar clumps are broken up.

    4. Blend & Bake

    Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and gently whisk until just combined (batter will be lumpy). Pour the batter into the prepared pan and evenly sprinkle granulated sugar over the top.

    5. Baking Time

    Place the pan on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

    6. Cool & Serve

    Allow the bread to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 30 minutes. Carefully tilt the pan and remove the bread, letting it cool on the wire rack for at least another 30 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
