1. Prepare and Rise Dough
Prepare the Classic White Bread dough according to your recipe and let it rise until doubled in size.
2. Add Raisins, Zest, and Cinnamon
Knead the golden raisins, orange zest, and cinnamon into the risen dough until evenly distributed.
3. Shape and Second Rise
Divide the dough into 16 pieces, shape into balls, and let rise on a greased sheet pan until nearly doubled.
4. Prepare Egg Wash and Preheat Oven
Whisk together the egg and egg yolk for the egg wash and preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
5. Bake Rolls
Brush the risen rolls with egg wash and bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
6. Make Maple Butter
While rolls are baking, mix room temperature butter with maple syrup and flake salt to make maple butter.
7. Serve Rolls with Maple Butter
Let rolls cool slightly after baking, then serve warm with maple butter.
