How to Make Easy Honey-Tehina Slice & Bake Cookies

    1. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

    2. Cream Butter and Sugars

Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment or a handheld mixer, cream the butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and light in color.

    3. Add Honey and Tehina

Add honey and tehina to the creamed butter and sugar mixture, and mix until well blended, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary.

    4. Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients

Gently incorporate the flour mixture into the wet ingredients using the mixer on low speed until just combined.

    5. Chill the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a piece of plastic wrap, shaping it into a log. Wrap it tightly and refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.

    6. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan

While the dough is chilling, preheat your oven to 350ºF (approximately 176.67ºC) and prepare a sheet pan by spraying it with oil and lining it with parchment paper.

    7. Slice and Bake

Once the dough is firm, slice it into rounds and arrange them on the prepared sheet pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 14 to 16 minutes until the edges are golden brown.

    8. Cool the Cookies

Let the cookies cool on the pan until completely cooled.
