1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Loaf Pan
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-by-5-by-3-inch loaf pan with unsalted butter and sprinkle cornmeal generously over the surface.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients and Beer
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, kosher salt, and granulated sugar. Whisk these dry ingredients together until well mixed. Pour in the beer and stir just until the batter comes together. The batter will be lumpy and moist.
3. Bake the Bread
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. Cool and Serve
