How to Make Avocado & Grapefruit Salad

1. Prepare the Grapefruits

Remove the segments from one grapefruit, ensuring they are free from any pith and peel. Place these segments in a bowl. Squeeze the remaining pulp to extract about 3 tablespoons of juice for the dressing.

2. Segment the Remaining Grapefruits

Repeat the process with the other two grapefruits, segmenting them and reserving 1/4 cup of juice for the dressing.

3. Assemble the Salad

Layer the krab chunks, grapefruit segments, and avocado slices on a large platter or individual plates.

4. Prepare the Dressing

In a small bowl, mix the reserved grapefruit juice with extra-virgin olive oil and drizzle over the salad.

5. Garnish and Season

Sprinkle minced chives over the salad, and season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
