Create the marinade by whisking together the white miso, mirin, sake, light brown sugar, grated ginger, and lime zest in a small bowl. Place the salmon fillets in a dish, pour the marinade over them, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the dish and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature, or refrigerate for more developed flavors, up to overnight.
2. Broil the Salmon
Prepare your broiler by setting it to high and line a baking sheet with foil. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the baking sheet.
