    How to Make Warm Olives

    1. Prepare the Olives

Give the olives a good rinse under cold water using a strainer to remove any excess brine.

    2. Warm the Oil

Heat the olive oil in a small heavy pan over medium heat until shimmering, being careful not to let it smoke.

    3. Infuse the Olives

Add the drained olives, quartered garlic clove, chile, fresh herbs, and zest strips to the pan. Warm over gentle heat for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

    4. Rest and Serve

Remove the pan from the heat and let the olives rest for a few minutes before serving, allowing the flavors to meld further.
