How to Make Warm Olives with Aromatics

1. Prepare Olives

Rinse the olives under cool water using a strainer to remove excess brine or residue.

2. Warm Olive Oil

Pour olive oil into a small heavy pan and warm it over low heat.

3. Add Aromatics to Olives

Add the rinsed olives, quartered garlic clove, chile, herbs, and citrus zest to the pan with the warmed olive oil. Allow to cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Rest and Serve

After cooking, turn off the heat and let the olives sit in the warm pan for a few minutes to meld the flavors, then serve warm.
